M.I.N.S. is a place where migrants can come for free information and help, especially in their first five years in Australia. We are a community of Australians, new and established who share friendship and culture. We welcome new members from all backgrounds, migrants, indigenous and non-indigenous alike.

Support for New Arrivals Migrants in their first five years may have some complex issues, such as: · Recognition of overseas qualifications · Long-term unemployment · Isolation or depression · Legal issues · Family problems Call MINS for a confidential appointment. We are happy to provide real help, make calls and find out answers to help your situation. We may need to see you more than once until you can continue on your own. Your personal details and anything we talk about will stay private.Group Information Sessions M.I.N.S offers four information sessions per year to groups of up to thirty people. Topics can include: · Centrelink, · Women’s Health · Caring for people at home · Transport · Successful Careers · Business If you have a suggestion for a group information session please let us know.

Culture Friends A cross-cultural friendship group open to all! This is a great chance for new arrivals to get to know the wider community, and for all people to experience each other’s culture.
