Weeroona Association

Direct support to people with a disability and their families/carers through the provision of a range of non-centre based respite care and support services including in-home respite care, host family care and social support services. Services include support to children and younger adults with a disability in areas such as personal care, independent/daily living tasks and access to community recreational and social activities. Flexible Family Support provides a wide range of supports and services to families who have a child or children with disabilities under 18 years of age, where the family has complex needs which are not being adequately met through existing service systems. The organisation functions on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis throughout the Cooloola Shire and offers individualised support, brokerage services, information and referral. There is a waiting list for services.
