About Us

As Australia's first charity, our vision is a just society where everyone lives their best life. We've been supporting people with a disability, children and families, older Australians and carers since 1813.

As a parent or carer attending the Browns Plains Early Years Centre, you can support and be actively involved in your child’s development in many ways.  This includes Child and Parent Supported Playgroups, Expectant Parent Groups, programs to prepare children for kindergarten and school, Individual Family Support and Parenting Programs.

Our team consists of Child and Family Practitioners and Child Development Specialists who work in partnership with Child Health Nurses (Queensland Health) to support the varying needs of families and their children from conception to 8 years of age.

The Maternity Hub (located in the Browns Plains Early Years Centre) is aimed at providing antenatal care and information for both pregnant women and families with new babies from communities across Logan City.
