About Us

The Acute Care Team Service is the point of access to Mental Health Services in CQ Health for people over 18 years old. We provide assessment and referral services for people who experience serious mental health problems. Acute inpatient services provide a range of therapeutic interventions and programs to patients and their families to learn more about the impact of the illness, explore ways to better manage the illness, improve coping strategies and move towards recovery.
