Spirit of the Dragonfly

Community Assist Redlands Enterprises offers a whole range of disability support to private and government Clients in the Redlands.  We are best known for our social and recreational access programs which include Dragonfly Dance Parties, Theme Park Days & our Spirit of the Dragonfly Program.  We service anyone with a Disability over the age of 18.  Our cruise program encourages service users to engage in the community for a minimum of 15 hours a week.  Our clients BBQ and Raffle Thursday to Sunday and sometimes on other days depending on seasonal trends.  Our clients rotate and learn different skills including money management, cooking, presentation of tables, ordering stock, cutting up and preparing food, customer service, listening, raffles and endless other tasks.  They pay a $200 deposit as a commitment to the program and at the end they go on their own cruise holiday either in Australia or overseas.  Clients sign a contract for their commitment to the program.  It is a fantastic learning environment for all our individuals..  Business sponsorship packages also start from $275.  Our aim is to give our clients hope and joy.  So far we have taken and fully funded 120 individuals overseas for one of the most joyous occasions in their life.  You can often catch us at Officeworks or Amart All Sports and if you need to know any more details about our unique program.
