YHARS provides a support and after care service for young people aged 17-21 years, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, are residing in Central Queensland and have exited or are transitioning from Child Safety Services. • Brokerage is available to spend on items such as: o Accommodation and Housing – utility bills, rent arrears, household goods (white goods, furnishings etc.) o Specialist Support – Dental services, medical services, drug and alcohol counselling etc. o Education, Training & Employment – course fees, uniforms, laptop, licence fees etc. o Independent Living – food, birth certificate, driving lessons etc.
