About Us
Psychology services include counselling and therapy, support for improved mental health including challenges with mood and anxiety, emotional regulation and behavioural challenges, disability support and assistance with challenges related to social functioning and skills development.
Psychology assessment services include both verbal and nonverbal cognitive assessment, learning assessments including support in identifying learning disorders or 'dyslexia', assessment of exceptional abilities, and neurodiversity including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
Services are provided to NDIS participants seeking psychology supports. We are also registered to provide Medicare services and rebates are available for referrals from a GP or other approved practitioner.
Supervision is also provided by accredited psychologists (STAP) including support to early career psychologists.

Sunshine Coast Therapy and Assessment services is a child and family psychology practice. The service is located within Blackbird House with other allied health professionals and clinicians providing services across the lifespan. Psychology services are provided in person or by Telehealth and include support with social emotional needs, mental health, behaviour and parenting and family support. Assessment services include cognitive and learning assessments and other developmental and behavioural assessment including review of neurodiversity including ADHD and ASD. We aim to provide a responsive, caring, person centred and professional service to those seeking supports.
