Formally known as 'Golden Eye Clinic'. Here at Best Practice Eyecare, we pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive eye care service and surgery for the Sunshine Coast. We boast a state of the art facility in Golden Beach with full diagnostic capability to manage common eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration as well as less common problems.

We have a modern operating theatre within the practice, maintained to the highest standards, for minor surgical eye problems including eyelid surgery, pterygiums and intraocular injections for macular disease.

Our practice is led by surgeon Doctor Michael Karpa, a comprehensive ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in oculoplastics, glaucoma and ophthalmology. Dr. Karpa is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.
