About Us

The Kirwan Health Campus consists of four community health facilities which offers a range specialist services to the community.

Kirwan Community Health Services:

 

  • Infant Management Parenting Skills Centre (IMPS)
  • Child Development Service
  • Midwifery Group Practice
  • Oral Health Services
  • Older Persons Community Services
  • Community Outreach
  • Community Mental Health Services
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health
  • Mobile Women’s Health Clinic
  • Prosthetic and Orthotic Services
  • Queensland Health Pathology Specimen Collection
  • Genetic Counselling Service
  • Parklands Aged Care Facility

A 70-bed facility located at the Kirwan Community Health Campus providing frail, aged and memory support to older persons in the community. 

Townsville Community Care and Acquired Brain Injury Unit
A residential facility with a strong focus on return-to-community living and community inclusion. 

Josephine Sailor Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Service (AUIDS)
This program provides mental health care to adolescents, aged between 12 and 18 years of age, and their families from across North Queensland. 

Parking:
The Kirwan Health Campus has two entrances. Child, Youth and Family Health is located closest to Dan Gleeson Gardens. All other services are located nearest the Kirwan Tavern. There is onsite, free parking available to patients.

Public Transport:
Sunbus provides a regular bus service with a stop located at the front of the facility.
