Chinchilla Concert Band

The Chinchilla Concert Band is a musical organisation operating in the Chinchilla area.  We rehearse once a week on Mondays from 7pm to 8:30pm at Langlands Hall in the Chinchilla Historical Museum.  We welcome musicians of all ages, however some musical ability is required. 

The Concert Band plays a variety of music, from marches to folk songs, hymns to pop music.  In July 2014 the Concert Band will also be starting a Stage Band, rehearsal day and time is yet to be established. 

The Chinchilla Concert Band plays at a variety of functions in the Western Downs Community, including Australia Day Ceremony in Miles, ANZAC Day March and service in Chinchilla, Mayor's Charity Concert, Chinchilla Show, Chinchilla Melon Festival and various Christmas Carols throughout the local community. 

If you have a community event that you would like us to perform at, we would love to hear from you.  We request 6 weeks notice prior to an event to ensure that we can provide a suitable sized ensemble.
