About Us

The Dalby and District Wheatmen is a club which actively encourages long lasting friendships through a family friendly environment. Breeding success and passion in our rugby as we strive for continual improvement both on and off the field. We are committed to growing the unity between the club and the community and attracting members and players from across the downs.

Rugby Union is a game of speed, strength and stamina and the Dalby Wheatmen have been displaying their prowess since 1964.  With over 300 registered junior, teenage, senior and womens players from Under 6’s through to A Grade all competing in the Darling Downs Competition.

The Dalby Wheatmen are the current Downs Rugby Risdon Cup Champions!

If you are interested in becoming a Wheatmen, we encourage you to join at training.  A, B and C Grade train every Tuesday and Thursday from 6.30pm at our home grounds, John Ritter Oval, Orpen Street, Dalby.  Junior teams train every Wednesday afternoon from 3.30pm and teenagers train at 5.30pm. Our Women’s 7s team train every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5.30-7pm at the Dalby State High School Bunya Campus.
