Rising Journey Disability Services

We provide wide range of services for participants these include:

- Personal Activities: 

• Bathing & showering, maintenance of dental hygiene, dressing, grooming and maintenance of overall personal hygiene.
• Bladder and bowel management, toileting
• Assistance in having food & drinking.
• Assisting in attending medical appointments as and when needed
• Medication management as per the doctor’s instructions
• The use of assistance tools like hearing aids, communication devices, and appliances.

- Travel & Transport:

• We help participants to travel to various places
• Our support workers are multilingual
• We arrange disability vehicles for participants if required
• Our support workers coordinate with the participants effectively

- Daily Tasks:

• Gardening
• Meal preparation
• Home organisation
• Home cleaning
• Washing clothes
• Ironing
• Making grocery lists, etc

-  Community Access & Support:

• Assistance with community participation
• Assist with holiday planning. camping and outing
• Assist in participating in community events and activities
• Assist with participating in sports and other physical activities
• Take the participants to nearby recreational centres, shopping complexes, etc.
• Assist with learning new skills
• Help develop daily life and living skills
• Help explore and develop various hobbies
• Help socialise with the others in the community
