Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an inflammatory condition that affects the lining of the nerves of the brain and the central nervous system, resulting in reduced capacity for transmission of nervous impulses and erratic impulses being transmitted along nerve pathways.

* Offers a suite of services to support people living with multiple sclerosis, including:
- Phone and email support through MS Connect - the gateway to living well with multiple sclerosis
- Free, specialised consultation with a health professional through the MS Advisor service
- Information about exercise and nutrition through to social engagement and specialist employment support, available through the MS Wellbeing services
- Around the clock support when things get challenging, through the MS Respite and Residential service
- Auspice of the Community Visitors Scheme
