Denmark Airport

"The Denmark Airport is owned by the Shire of Denmark and maintained with the assistance of the Denmark Airport Association made up of local aviation enthusiasts. The airport supports a variety of community services such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Emergency firefighting services. The airport also supports both commercial and private aircraft operations. The Denmark/Albany area has one of the highest per capital concentrations of sport and amateur built aircraft in the world, and there are several aviation enthusiast groups active in the area. Denmark Airport also hosts the Sport Aircraft Aviation Association of Australia WA Regional Fly-in every four years, which attracts amateur built aircraft Australia wide. Ashburton Air Services, based at Denmark Airport, offers Charter transportation services and well as local scenic flights."
