Peel Mobile Health Service (PMHS)

The Peel Mobile Health Service is an innovative way of taking health services into the heart of Peel communities. The aim of this highly visible and well-respected community service is to support and improve access to health care and health information, with a focus on the outer Peel communities, those at social disadvantage and those with transport difficulties due to geographical isolation.

GP down south supports, trains and works with community organisations and health service providers to use this resource to support health promotion, health education and delivery of services across the Peel region.

All operational costs are covered by GP down south, with the service provider required to bring their own consumables and equipment.
