Calling rusty and fledgling string players!

Are you new to strings from another instrument? A rusty string player who last played years ago? Or a first-instrument adult string student?

The South Side Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra for the southern side of Perth, based in Melville. The 'FledgeStrings' is their development strings ensemble. We welcome rusty or fledgling string players (violin, viola, cello & double bass) who wish to develop their musical and orchestral skills by playing in a supportive and friendly environment in preparation for joining the main SSSO orchestra. We rehearse on Monday evenings in Winthrop from 7.30 pm to 9 pm during school terms. No auditions, but players should be from approximately AMEB Grade 2 level.
