About Us

The aim of Sailability is to integrate people with disabilities into sailing.It exists to promote, encourage and facilitate recreational and competitive sailing for people with disabilities within the structure of existing sailing organisations. Training is available for volunteers in disability awareness and sailing. A variety of craft are available, including yachts, Access 303 dinghies and 2.4mR Norlan Keelboats. Sailability provides safe, relaxed and fun environment for everyone to experience the joy and freedom of sailing. There is ample opportunity to participate in social events, and assist with administration. Please ring for more information. Activity times: Wednesday 9.30am to 12.00pm. Supported sailing in dinghies and keelboats for participants. Thursday 9.30am to 12.00pm Sailing for high support participants. Sunday 9.30am to 12.00pm Sailability member's day.

Activities: Sailing, sport, recreation, social activities

Fees: $6.00 per visit for participants, $55 Single membership, $82.50 family membership. Agency from $220 per annum.

Available To: From recreation agencies supporting people with disabilities. All people with support needs are encouraged to come and try sailing.
