It is comprised of the suburbs of Aberdeen, Ambleside, Devonport, Don, Eugenana, Forthside, Lillico, Miandetta, Quoiba, Stony Rise and Tugrah plus parts of East Devonport, Forth, Leith, Melrose, Paloona and Spreyton.
It is surrounded by the councils of Central Coast, Kentish and Latrobe.
It is within the state electorate of Braddon.
It is within the federal electorate of Braddon.
