West Tamar Community

West Tamar Council has an approximate area of 710 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Badger Head, Beauty Point, Blackwall, Bridgenorth, Clarence Point, Deviot, Exeter, Flowery Gully, Glengarry, Gravelly Beach, Greens Beach, Grindelwald, Kayena, Kelso, Lanena, Legana, Loira, Notley Hills, Robigana, Rosevears, Rowella, Sidmouth, Swan Point and Winkleigh plus parts of 7 suburbs including Beaconsfield, Birralee, Holwell, Riverside and Selbourne.

It is comprised of parts of the Frankford locality.

It is surrounded by the councils of George Town, Latrobe, Launceston City and Meander Valley.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Bass and Lyons.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Bass and Lyons.
