About Us
The Canberra Calligraphy Society is an incorporated association in the ACT. We promote western calligraphy for experienced and beginner calligraphers. Some basic calligraphic experience is a prerequisite to attend our workshops which are held on the fourth Sunday of most months of each year.
Our tutors are local members or visiting interstate or international calligraphers. We aim to continually educate our members about the history of writing and the development of scripts in relation to the materials available throughout history, including more modern scripts and associated crafts (such as bookbinding, hand lettering, card making and Celtic artwork).
If you are interested in taking calligraphy classes to learn calligraphy or to refresh your skills, please use the contact facility on this listing.
