Community First Development

ICV is a registered charity and non-profit community development organisation working with Indigenous Australians to improve quality of life, wellbeing and social inclusion. ICV provides access to highly skilled volunteers in urban, rural and remote communities where employment, economic development and education opportunities are often limited. Communities have control: they tell us their vision for the future, what assets or skills they need, and they select the right volunteers for the project. ICV relies on the enthusiasm and dedication of volunteers from backgrounds as diverse as child care, technology, manufacturing, law, gardening, construction and medicine. Our volunteers work to build on the strengths of the community. Together we are working to help Indigenous communities overcome disadvantage and realise their dreams.
