About Us
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community Transport is renowned in taking our area's aged citizens living independently to their world, where they need or want to go. HKCT is not a chauffeur or on-call service. It is a transport service on a pre-reserved basis, at a subsidised cost basis for eligible clients. In extremely well maintained vehicles that are suitable to those with access considerations and even wheelchair accessible vehicles. HKCT drivers? Absolutely amazing! All paid employees, holders of NSW Bus Authority credentials, and recognised for their care and attention as well as their safety records.
HKCT also may assist community members who are transport disadvantaged or qualify for specific Health Related Transport assistance

Transport Notes
Parking is available in Gilroy Lane in the Council carpark, which provides two hours free parking. Our building is located within 3 minutes walk from Turramurra Train Station.
Eligibility Notes
Commonwealth Holme Support Program (CHSP) services requires approval via Commonwealth's My Aged Care
Volunteer Notes
Volunteers can help us in our office with administration tasks or on our bus trips as bus assistants. We accept and encourage volunteers to join our organisation.
