About Us

For anyone who is interested in the ancient art of bonsai. Beginners and advanced artists welcome. Meetings and demonstrations are followed by a workshop, with assistance provided by experienced bonsai practitioners, as desired. At least one nationally accredited bonsai specialist/tutor visits annually, to provide workshops and pass on knowledge & skills.

Bonsai beginner classes are conducted by visiting accredited artists at intervals decided by the Club Committee. No experience required. Conducted in a relaxed environment. Classes are conducted immediately following the Club's monthly meeting, which is for all club members. Register your interest by contacting the Wagga Wagga Bonsai Society (contact details below). Alternatively, if you're not sure about wanting to learn and would prefer to visit and check the club out, you are most welcome.

The club is active throughout the year with organised digs, lessons (beginner & intermediate levels), bonsai nursery visits, workshops by visiting nationally accredited bonsai tutors, public exhibitions and more.

Location & Timings: Monthly Meetings are held at the Association of Riverina Cultural Clubs Hall (ARCC) at 131 Tarcutta Street, Wagga Wagga on the third (3rd) Saturday of each month starting at 1:00 p.m. through until approximately 5.00 p.m.
