About Us

Sport and Recreation, Southern Region conducts Preschool and School Age Learn to Swim Classes from November to February of each year. Classes are conducted extensively throughout the Region at over 35 pools. The aim of Swim and Survive is to increase safety and enjoyment of the water through activities which will develop: Water Confidence, Water Safety, Swimming Skills and Survival skills. Lessons are available for persons aged 18 months and over.
