We are committed to keeping our brains healthy and promoting the playing of Bridge in a friendly and supportive environment. Research is continually showing that the onset of a number of significant brain related illnesses can be delayed or offset by the active use of our 'grey matter'. The Australian Bridge Federation have a close association with a number of significant research facilities examining the cause and potential treatments of these illnesses and with a high representation of players in the higher age brackets bridge does seem to be a very effective way of keeping our brains both active and healthy.
