Inala Elders Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation

This organisation is a place for indigenous people to gather to learn, listen and laugh together while maintaing the important cultural aspect of the elder mentoring system. They currently provide a CACPs program to endeavour to keep our elderly local people living safely and comfortably in their own homes longer.

The Intent of Inala Elders A&TSI Corporation:
The organisation is especially focused on the needs of the older indigenous person within their home and community participating in talks/meetings with local,state or federal governments. Mentoring being another major focus for them successfully for 5 years coordinated a youth festival that has been recognised as the biggest indigenous youth festival in Queensland.
