The Prince Charles Hospital Acute Care Team

The Acute Care Team is a 24 hour intake/assessment and referral services for clients seeking to access or reacess mental health services within the Prince Charles catchment area and can be contacted on 1800 112 403. The service is free and confidential specialising in the assessment of individuals who have, or are at risk of developing, a major mental  illness. Mental health services are provided to youth, adults and older persons. A team of mental health professionals offers assessment of existing or possible mental health problems, case management, crisis intervention, and community liaison and education.
