About Us

?Clinton State School provides educational opportunities for primary age students from Prep to year 6. The school was established in January, 1974 and currently has a total enrolment of 932 students. Clinton State School is located in the western suburbs of Gladstone and is just a 60 minute drive North to Rockhampton. It covers 6.4 hectares of landscaped grounds with two ovals, multi-purpose covered areas and an outstanding performing arts hall.

Clinton State School offers high quality educational opportunities to students in the areas of academia, sport, music and citizenship.

We lead the way in offering educational experiences which promote the growth and development of well-balanced, confident young students. Through a differentiated and negotiated curriculum our students are able to access all core requirements of Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) while meeting challenges within a supportive environment to encourage skill development within various curriculum areas.

The integration of quality Information Communication Technology (ICT) resources in every classroom allows our students to access computer information technologies. Our students learn the value of striving for success and through this effort change not only their educational outcomes but also their lives.
