Coombabah Community Garden Inc.

Our community garden has 25 garden beds and a greenhouse nursery. Members tend each and any of the garden beds and we all enjoy the harvest of the produce. Cost of membership is $20.00 per year.

The purpose of the garden is to create a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to grow fruit, vegetables and herbs. It's a great way to meet your neighbours and make new friends.

We love to plant different varieties of vegetables,   We usually hold information sessions at the garden once a month and we have many interesting discussions on how to grow, prepare, cook and use the different fruits and vegetables.

We do not use chemical sprays in the garden.  All soil, mulch and compost is sourced locally or made up by us.  We are extremely careful of how the crops are cared for. On any Sunday most members can be found digging, mulching, planting.

Other activities undertaken by the members are finding sponsors, attending expos and functions to promote the garden and holding fundraising ventures such as Bunnings BBQ's to keep the garden running smoothly.
