Native Plants Queensland - Pine Rivers Branch

Native Plants Queensland (NPQ), formerly the Society for Growing Australian Plants (SGAP) Pine Rivers Branch is a community group whose interest lies in the cultivation, conservation and education of Australian Native Plants, particularly those plants within the Moreton Bay Region. Our group offers friendly faces with a passion for Australian Native Plants, and growing and cultivating them. We have a vast knowledge base in our members, nationally. Annual plant sales, in Autumn and Spring, along with our Spring Flower Show in Brisbane portrays the wide variety of plants available. Meetings generally include a visit to a National Park, State Forest or a member's garden and include a lot of "information exchange". These may be locally or further afield. A monthly Newsletter keeps everyone up to date with "What's On".Specialised Study Groups offer information on specific subjects, for example, Grevilleas, Melaleucas, Garden Design, to name but a few. These groups are within the Society and are organised through the Study Group Leaders.
