Brain Treatment Centre Australia has been providing MeRT^SM Therapy in Australia since October 2018 in Morayfield, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Our parent company has been operating in the United States since 2012, with a growing body of evidence supporting the effectiveness of our treatment for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Eating Disorders, Anxiety and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

At our sites in Morayfield, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, we provide MeRT^SM Therapy, a form of brain neuromodulation. Our therapy protocol is based on the information obtained from patient’s individual EEG/EKG (brain activity) data, which is followed by an intervention of dynamic, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). This differs significantly from rTMS, which utilises stimulation that is delivered by a technician at a fixed setting opposed to one that adapts to a patient’s existing brain activity. Another important difference to MeRT over rTMS delivery in Australia, is that we are offering our treatment as an out-patient service, working in collaboration with GPs and Allied Health Professionals, to deliver holistic patient centric care.
