Gidgee Healing Aboriginal Medical Service

The Gidgee Healing primary health service provides a range of medical and clinical services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in Mount Isa and the surrounding region.

Our health services are provided by a dedicated team of Doctors, Indigenous Health Professionals, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Administration and Transport staff.

All of Gidgee Healing’s services are bulk-billed through Medicare and are free to access. Please ensure you have a valid Medicare card.

Gidgee provides a transport service for all clients within the Mount Isa area. Please advise the receptionist if you require transport when you make your appointment.
