Community Development Assoc - Mt Isa (MICDA)

MICDA Inc is an independent community managed, non profit organisation funded by government to provide social services and community development activities, encouraging active participation in decision making by clients and the community. MICDA's purpose is to address quality of life issues in Mount Isa and District communities. Programs include community rent scheme, home assist secure and HACC home maintenance, Isa Tenant Advice and Advocacy Service (ITAAS), RTA community education, Xstrata Homeskills development project, buckles project, migrant support and community housing. We auspice the Mt. Isa QCOSS (SNGO) Project. We also offer financial administration, Project management and governance mentoring and LEAP - mobility equipment and medical aides.
