About Us

The Strong Families, Strong Community (SFSC) Program work with vulnerable Indigenous individuals and families in Cunnamulla and surrounds, who are dealing with family violence and have multiple and complex needs through programs that:

  • Aim to reduce family violence in Cunnamulla and local areas
  • Improve the safety of Indigenous women, children, individuals, and families
  • Reduce the physical and psycholgical abuse, neglect and trauma that children experience due to family violence in the home
  • Inhibit the intergenerational cycle of violent behaviours caused by family violence.

The SFSC Program offers weekly programs that promote family violence prevention. Please contact the Domestic Violence Centre (CACH) for specific times, dates, and locations.
