Wylahra Grove Progress Association

Our association was first  incorporated in 1989 and subject to a change of name in 2002 to Wylahra Grove Progress Assoc. Inc. The Wylahra Grove Progress Assoc. Inc. provides information and assistance to all members and the community. Support and assistance to rural fire brigades and other like minded not for profit organisations. Members of the progress regularly organise events at their Hall Facility at a very low cost to the local residents. The association promotes the conservation and preservation of all indigenous flora, fauna and wildlife within the district. Progress represents the community to all levels of government and local council to provide necessary improvements and maintenance of:- amenities, roads, water supply, signage, waste collection, other services, communication- land and mobile telephone services, broadband services, radio. The development of playground and fitness equipment, a first for the area was achieved in 2018 and is located in the grounds of the Hall facility located in Millmerran Downs, and is available to use by the community during daylight hours.  

Volunteer administration staff open the Hall facility as advertised in our monthly newsletter, Facebook page and Website, so that families and workers can take advantage of the facility.  Special events, community meetings/gatherings are regularly organised for the facility.  Informative meetings and workshops are held as requested by various organisations. All events, functions, meetings, etc. will be advertised in our printed and digital monthly newsletter which can be viewed on our Facebook page or Website.
