About Us

The Thursday Island Community Wellness Centre (CWC) was officially opened in 2014.  The CWC was part of the State Government’s strategy aimed at improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and was funded under Rehabilitation Pathways and Chronic Disease facility programs by the Australian government.
