Volunteer research assistants discuss with library users their research goals to determine how best to assist.

They will explain possible sources and suggest search strategies.  They also give instruction in how to use the finding aids and facilities

Facilities include in-house computer databases; guides; indexes; reference books and magazines; other reference tools together with microfiche and microfilm reader printers and scanners. The internet is available on eleven computers.

If you are unable to attend our library, or as an alternative, we can undertake basic or detailed paid research on your family at nominal charges.
