Natasha Leaver is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who has experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Natasha has worked across a range of settings including Non-Government Organisations, Public Health, Community & Private Practice.

Natasha is passionate about rural health and enjoys working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Individual Therapy

Social Mind Health offers confidential and individualised therapy to individuals who are 16+.

No referral required.

Better Access Program (Medicare)

Under the Better Access Program you can receive rebates for therapy sessions if you have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.

Please note it is important that you tell the medical practice that you are booking an appointment for this reason, so they can book an extended appointment time to enable your GP to have enough time to complete the plan. 

Couples therapy

At SMH we use the Gottman approach when providing relationship therapy to couples. The Gottman Method draws on the knowledge of 40 years of research and clinical practice to help couples break through barriers, and improve the level of connection, intimacy and understanding within their relationships. 

Bowen Cancer & Ostomy Support Group

FREE

The Bowen Cancer & Ostomy Support Group is a free support group available to anyone who has been affected by cancer or has a stoma.  

Carers & family members  are welcome.

Meetings are held at the Bowen PCYC on the first Monday of every month from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

NDIS

SMH provides therapy to NDIS participants who are plan managed or self-managed.
