Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS)

At Elder Rights Australia we also deliver the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), a social-based program for people who could benefit from having a dedicated volunteer visitor.

We connect older people with caring volunteers for friendship and companionship. Visits are relaxed and social, focusing on conversations, sharing a hobby or interest, and having fun together. If you enjoy spending time with older people and have 1 or 2 hours a week to volunteer, we'd love to hear from you. Together we can reduce loneliness and social isolation for older people across the region.
