About Us

Double out and back course along the Swan River starting at the Clarkson Reserve near the Tennis Club, going passed the historic Tranby House, then slightly uphill to the playground at the end of Wall Street before turning back, then repeat. Mostly in the shade. Start area is beside the gazebo upriver on the opposite side of the carpark from the Tennis Club. Facilities Public toilets are located at the start and at the turn around point. There are several drinking fountains along the course and there are public BBQs, gazebos and tables in the area. There is a playground adjacent to the turn around point. Getting There Location of startThe run starts at the Clarkson Reserve near the Tennis Club. Getting there by public transportNearest train station is Maylands. It is approximately 3.5km walk from the train station to the start. Getting there on footIf riding, the start point is near the Maylands Tennis Club which is located on the shared bike path that runs along the Swan River. If walking, walk to the end of Peninsula Road and to the Clarkson Reserve off Clarkson Road (adjacent to the Maylands tennis club). Getting there by roadDrive down Peninsula Road towards the Maylands Tennis Club. Park in the carpark off Clarkson Road. Overflow parking is also available near the bowls club also off Clarkson Road. Post Run Coffee Every week we grab a post parkrun coffee at Picco’s Kitchen on Peninsula Road or one of the many other nearby cafés.
