About Us

Established in 1927, St John of God Bunbury Hospital is a 145-bed private hospital. As part of St John of God Health Care, Australia's largest not for profit healthcare provider, we offer a variety of services including acute medical, surgical, day stay, maternity, palliative care, renal dialysis, oncology and a range of community-based services. Located 2 hours from Perth, we service the community of Bunbury, reaching into the South-West of Western Australia.

St John of God Bunbury Hospital is a division of St John of God Health Care, one of Australia's largest private health care providers and largest Catholic not for profit private healthcare group.
In addition, our co-location with the public Bunbury Hospital increases the range of services available, ensuring the best possible care for patients and minimising the need for people to travel to Perth or other centres for treatment.

Extensive clinical and specialist services - including radiology, pathology, medical imaging, dietetics, allied health and hydrotherapy - are available in our Medical Centre and we have more than 300 accredited permanent and visiting medical practitioners.

The hospital also provides a volunteer program, an outreach medical service and a satellite renal dialysis unit in Busselton.
