About Us

Our vision is for an engaged, vibrant and active Dunsborough community whose members value sustainability, the environment and the inherited natural open space.

Some of the projects that we have achieved are Djiljit Mia Nature Space and the Hannay Lane Street Artworks as well as many artworks around the town. We work with the City to achieve changes which the community are interested in.

We also coordinate the main civic events in Dunsborough including Carols in the Park in December, Australia Day Ceremony in January, and we work with the RSL for Anzac Day in April.

One of our main events is the Dunsborough Arts Festival and Sculpture by the Bay. This is held annually in the March long weekend (sometimes it in February though!). Its a weekend of arty activities, fireworks!,free concerts each evening, a talent show for the youth and an art market. Across the weekend there are various workshops. A major drawcard and highlight however, is Sculpture by the Bay. Thousands of people flock to the Dunsborough Foreshore where the outdoor exhibition is held, to look at the high standard of sculptural artworks that are spread  between to parks. There is also an indoor exhibition at Christian Fletcher Gallery up a bit on Dunn Bay Road.

We are keenly interested in maintaining the village feel of Dunsborough and many residents feel the same way. If this is something of interest, you should look at - its all about good planning.

We also manage the bookings and maintenance of Dunsborough Hall.

Membership is a once off $10 fee and then you become a member for life!
