About Us
Southern Districts Support Association provides services and group activities to seniors, people with disabilities and their carers.</br> Lifestyle Club program for seniors </br>Endeavour Club for people with Dementia</br>In-home services - personal care and medication support; social and shopping activities; home care tasks; respite for carers; support with meal preparation</br>Small outing group programs and shopping groups</br>Transport to medical and other appointments</br>Assistance with lawns and gardens </br>Recreational and social outing groups for people with disabilities on the weekend in the evening
Referral: Home and Community Care (HACC) Eligible; Self referral or Hospital or General Practitioner referral. SDSA is also an approved service provider for Home Care Packages Levels 2 and 3, referrals are through hospital Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT).
Fees: Minimum cost is $8.00 per hour. All service fee's are income assessed.

Disabled access Daycentre has ramps into the building, including tactile paving. Toilets and parking.

SDSA's service are to assist people who have a medical condition, ongoing illness or disability to assist them with tasks in the home or access the community.
Volunteer Notes
Transporting people to medical appointments in agency vehicles; assisting elderly clients at our centre and providing transport if required; assisting with cleaning and maintaining agency vehicles and centre yard; office administration.
