Friends Of Woodman Point Recreation Camp Inc

Aims: The Friends of Woodman Point Recreation Camp (Inc) are committed to honouring the heritage and historical legacy of the former Woodman Point Quarantine Station for its significance to Western Australian history. We promote all aspects of this unique historical chapter to all Australians, and provide assistance and support to the Department of Sport and Recreation at Woodman Point, including interpretation, research, history collation, and funding that benefits the ongoing improvement and promotion of this historical site. In addition, FOWPRC promote the Isolation Hospital and its facilities as a unique community centre for all age groups by supporting and encouraging community activities. We maintain strong links between relevant government departments, corporate bodies and the general public to realise these aims. Meetings held 3rd Wednesday of Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sept and Nov at 5pm.
