Communicare - Communities for Children Armadale

Communities for Children (CfC) provides early intervention and prevention programs to improve outcomes for children 0 -12 years and their families. Eligible families must live in the City of Gosnells, City of Armadale or the suburbs of Byford and Mundijong.

Who benefits from Communities for Children?

• Families with children aged 0 - 12 years - by improving the health and well-being of families and the development of young children.
• Communities and Services within these communities – by creating strong child-friendly communities that understand the importance of children and apply this to maximise the health, well-being and early development of young children at the local level.

How our programs are delivered

As part of our role as a Communities for Children Facilitating Partner (CfC FP), we fund other organisations, known as Community Partners, to deliver services that contribute to better outcomes for families.

Our Committee

As a Facilitating Partner we establish and maintain a CfC Committee to assist with the development of both strategic and activity work plans. Committees are representative of their local communities and include clients, parents and caregivers, and local businesses, as well as local service providers.
