About Us

A youth engagement hub providing marginalized and at risk young people with a safe, and positive place to access support services.

Passages was established as a result of the growing rate of youth homelessness in Western Australia and the need for a unique specialist engagement service. The centre provides a    non-judgmental safe space to our communities most marginalized and at risk young people in Perth and Peel.Young people aged 12 to 25 years have a safe, friendly and positive place to access support and referrals to essential services.

Services offered:

  • individualised engagement by professional youth workers
  • information and referral to supporting agencies
  • outreach support
  • visiting agencies
  • practical needs (showers, laundry, food)
  • medical and legal support
  • financial and employment assistance
  • workshops and activities

The service engages with young people who are experiencing homelessness and disconnection from the community. Our objective is accessibility and inclusion for the
greatest number of young people in need, enabling some of the most hardest to reach youth populations to overcome disadvantage and realise their full potential.

The service understands the complex interrelationship between trauma exposure, homelessness, mental health, substance misuse and social disadvantage, and is a safe place to seek support.
