Life Skills

We can support you to develop a whole range of practical life skills by focusing on your specific goals, and working with you towards achieving positive outcomes.

We use a variety of active support techniques to assist, and this can include breaking down the task into smaller steps, teaching you the task in the place where it will usually be done and providing schedules and regular practice to learn and maintain skills. 

Life skills that promote and enhance independence can include:

• Budgeting and money management
• Meal preparation
• Social skills and relationships
• Maintaining your own home

Age is no barrier to learning, and we'll provide opportunities that lead to greater independence, confidence and well-being now and into the future.  We'll be here to encourage you in your desire to learn or improve in any area of your life.
