About Us
Meridian provides a non-judgemental, trauma-informed and compassionate environment for diverse Canberrans to safely access quality mental health and medical care.
Our professional, person-centred and affirming peer mental health support and clinical care coordination helps people living with or impacted by HIV, sex workers and members of LGBTQ+ communities, as well as their families-of-choice, carers and allies.
We have a team of qualified and registered mental health professionals, many of whom bring lived experience to their roles.
Wellbeing Team members will accompany you on your wellness journey, helping you build resilience to counter the challenges that affect our communities.
Our approach is sex-positive and affirming of gender, sexuality, kink, intersectional identities, neurodivergence and diverse relationships, including monogamy, non-monogamy and polyamory.
We are an appointment-based service, not a crisis service.
For more details about current wait times and to submit a referral for our services, please visit Wellbeing services at Meridian.
Meridian is accredited to the National Standards for Mental Health Services (NSMHS).
