ACT Mental Health Consumer Network Inc

The Network is funded by ACT Health to be the peak body for mental health consumers in the ACT and is the way in which people who have experience of mental illness can directly provide feedback to health services in the ACT, and their recommendations about how to improve the system.

Consumer Representatives use their understanding of systems, their own lived experience and the lived experience of others to inform their approach for advocating for change.  Consumer representation can be a powerful medium which benefits all mental health consumers who may be in need of these services.

Consumer Representatives requiring access to the Network facilities between 9-11am and 1pm-3pm are kindly asked to phone ahead on (02) 6230 5796 to schedule a suitable time.  Due to the nature of the Network’s business there is no guarantee there will be a staff member present to assist unless a prior arrangement has been made.
