CRCS Youth Programs and Services

Every week, the CRCS Youth Services team provides outreach and activities for young people aged 12 to 25 years who live work or play in or around the Belconnen area.

Thursdays: Bit Bent for 18 to 25 years

A culturally safe, participant-led social group for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 18 to 25 years. Allies are also welcome!

Wednesdays: Dungeons and Dragons

Get ready for adventure and excitement at our Dungeons and Dragons (fantasy roleplaying) drop-in service at the Belconnen Youth Centre. Create your own characters and explore a variety of fantasy worlds with other players. 

Thursdays: Games drop-in

A space for young people to play board/card games or play our Nintendo Switch. There's no need to register in advance—just come along and join in the fun!

Thursdays: Bit Bent for 10 to 17 years

A culturally safe, participant-led social group for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 10 to 17 years. Allies are also welcome!

Friday: Friday Dinners or BBQ at Westfield

Looking for a meal and great company on Friday nights? Look no further than the Friday dinner drop-in service at the Belconnen Youth Centre. We provide a safe and welcoming environment for young people to come together, enjoy a delicious dinner, and make new friends. Our youth support staff work hard to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and there’s always something new and exciting happening. 

Once a month, our team runs a BBQ at Westfield Bus Interchange from 3 to 6pm to reach out to other young people in the Belconnen area.

Planned Support

Planned Support is for young people aged 10 to 25 who would like support to work towards their goals in a planned/structured way. These could include work and education, navigating community services and Centrelink as well as forming connections to community.
